Clarifications

Turning flags into portal-ready questions, one itemised buyer email per batch, and mapping the reply back.

  • /tenders/[id]#clarifications

Each clarification answer removes a guess from the plan — and from your own bid / no-bid call. Clarifications are recommended, not required: nothing is gated on them. Score the go / no-go now and re-run it when the buyer answers.

Logging a clarification

The Clarifications card on the tender page lists what the pack analysis flagged as unclear. Log the ones worth asking, each with what is unclear, the question it affects and a portal-ready question. WayWiser drafts the question from the flag; you edit it.

One email per batch

Rather than sending questions one at a time, the card assembles every open clarification into one itemised buyer email — a numbered list with the pack references — which WayWiser drafts in the background. Copy it into the portal or your own mail client; WayWiser does not send buyer email itself.

The buyer's reply

Paste the buyer's reply into the batch. WayWiser maps each answer back onto the numbered items for you to confirm, marking a passage it could not match verbatim rather than inventing a match. A confirmed answer that corrects a weighting or a word limit is applied to the plan with the buyer's answer as its provenance, so the correction is traceable.

Where it shows up

Every clarification appears on the Activity page while it is being drafted, and on the tender page's timeline once logged.
