Find tenders

Where the notices come from, what the fit score means, the minimum-fit slider, "Not for us" and the email digest.

  • /find

Find tenders is a live feed of public-sector FM notices matched to your company profile. You only win what you see early, so the feed is refreshed hourly and every notice is scored the moment it lands.

Where the notices come from

Three official sources, all read through their published OCDS APIs: Find a Tender (above and below threshold), Contracts Finder, and Public Contracts Scotland. The Sources card on the page shows which are live. Notices are filtered to FM work by CPV code before they reach you, and each one links back to the notice on its source site.

Values are shown excluding VAT; the source sites usually headline the VAT-inclusive figure.

The fit score

Fit is a score out of 100 against your company profile — service lines, regions, contract value bands and buyer types — together with your delivery history and buyer-type win rates. It is not a keyword match, and it is a prompt to look, not a recommendation to bid. Each row carries a short rationale saying which parts of the profile it matched.

If a tender you would bid scores low, the profile is usually the reason: a service line or region it falls under is not selected. Change the profile on Getting started and the feed re-scores.

Minimum fit

The slider sets the lowest fit you want to see. With no minFit in the address the page applies your saved digest threshold (60 until one is saved) and the caption says so. Setting it to 0 shows everything.

Filters, search and sort

Service line, region and value band chips each narrow the list and toggle off again; the search box and sort links keep whatever chips are set. Every control derives from one address, so a chip click never drops a search.

Not for us

"Not for us" hides a notice from the feed for your whole team. It stays scored and comes back with Show dismissed; Restore undoes it.

Add to pipeline

Add to pipeline turns a notice into a tender with a page of its own and fetches any buyer-published documents the notice links to, when the portal allows it. Adding the same notice twice does not create two tenders. From there the pipeline page takes over.

The email digest

The digest settings popover sets a frequency (off, daily or weekly), extra recipients and a minimum fit. Off is the default, so switching it on is always a deliberate act. A daily digest goes every morning; a weekly one on Mondays; nothing is sent when nothing new matched. Email delivery depends on an email provider being configured for the platform — until it is, digests are recorded, not sent.
