Go / no-go is the one hard gate on the path. The plan, drafting and evidence retrieval cost real time and money, so WayWiser builds them only for tenders you have committed to — and the logged decision is what later tells you whether your calls were right.
The scorecard
One click scores the tender from your win history, facts bank and delivery profile, across five factors: capability match, incumbent strength, buyer price behaviour, capacity in region and strategic value. Each factor row says whether it was scored, what scored it (platform data, an interview answer, your own score) and the basis — or the reason it could not be scored.
Before you run it, the card states the coverage: "Scored on 2 of 5 factors — 45% of the weighting". Absence of evidence never down-ranks a tender: when under half the weighting can be scored the result is Not enough evidence rather than bid or no-bid, and the card lists what was excluded from the score — and the same when fewer than two factors could be scored, whatever the weighting.
Before you decide
A short set of questions on what the scorecard cannot see — capability, capacity, appetite, the incumbent. WayWiser prepares them after the pack is analysed (or from the notice alone): the catalogue topics of every unscored factor plus a few tender-only ones from the pack. It also searches the award notices it holds for the current provider, and the web where a search provider is configured; a web candidate only counts once you confirm it.
Answer what you know and tick "we don't know" where you don't. Each answer is dated, attributed and kept in the facts bank; company-level answers are offered again on the next bid while they still hold ("Still true — reuse"). This step is recommended, not required, but each answer scores a factor the platform's data cannot, so the go / no-go covers more of the weighting and says which factors are evidenced and which are still unknown.
Deciding
Run it, read the bases, then Commit to bid or record a No-bid. Going against the recommendation needs a reason, and the reason is logged with the decision. A no-bid archives the tender; changing the decision on the same card reopens it. An expired certificate in the facts bank is called out on the card before you decide.
What it unlocks
Create bid plan. Until a decision is recorded the button is refused with the reason: "Record a go / no-go decision first — the bid plan is only built for tenders you commit to."
